Theme Day Thursday-Wedding

Good morning! Welcome to Theme Day Thursday over at My Cricut Craft Room! On this day, we as the Design Team, have different themes each week to work with! Today is weddings!! This weekend, Erica's (AKA My Cricut Craft Room) brother is getting married to one of our Design Team members Melissa!! Congrats to you Melissa!! I wish you the best in your new married life!! :) I hope your wedding is everything you have ever dreamed about!

Who doesn't love weddings? A new beginning, a start to an exciting new life, everything is so pretty & it is like a fairy-tale come true for the bride! I remember my wedding almost 21 years ago...we were so young & had no idea what life had in store for us! But 21 yrs later, we are still happy & we can laugh everyday with each other! Love ya Honey!!

Anyway, on to the project! I haven't made a wedding card in a LONG time! In fact, I think I have only made maybe 2 or 3 since I have been crafting! Everyone we know is already married! So this was a stretch for me, but I did get to use a cart I had never used before "Tie The Knot" This is Mom's cart, so "Thank you Mom!!" :)

The champagne glasses are cut at 2 3/4" and the "Mr & Mrs" is cut at 1 1/4". The Mr & Mrs gave me all kinds of trouble!! I must have cut it at least 4 times to get the right size!! Still learning, still learning!! The background paper is a gorgeous, but retired :( designer paper from Stampin Up. And of course, champagne glasses wouldn't be complete with out some Stickles!

Now head on back to My Cricut Craft Room for more weddings projects!

And be sure to come back tomorrow...I was asked to be a Guest Designer at a super amazing blog!! Post will be up tomorrow! :) How exciting!!

You did a fabulous job on this card! I have been married to my sweetie for 28 years! And yes, we too had no idea what was in store for us. lol. Last month our oldest daughter got married and it was so wonderful.
Thanks for sharing and I can't wait to see who you are a guest designer for tomorrow!

So super pretty! The glasses look marvelous! I think the M&M came out great! Do you have a Gypsy? It makes it easier to see if the image will fit:-) TFS!

Tammy, I DO have a Gypsy!! But I am having a hard time figuring it steps!! :) I guess if I look at the boxes & figure out the measurements of the card, then make it fit on the "card" right? Lol!!
