Ribbons & Rosettes

Good Thursday Morning!! (Or afternoon, evening...depending on when you are reading this!! Lol!!) Today is my day to post for My Cricut CraftRoom DT! I took the month of December off from both my DT's but am back on track now! I really enjoy being on the DT's and it feels so good to be back into my crafting after the long Christmas break!

This year Erica has changed things up a bit and is now doing theme days AND different carts for each day! For instance, today's theme is "Laundry" OR we can choose to use the "Ribbons & Rosettes" cart, or both! :) I chose to use the R&R's cart, a good friend of mine let me use her cart and I must say....I LOVE IT!!!

I decided to make my first Valentine's card for the year! I saw the cut for the rosette with the hearts and it came out so cute! Then I used some paper that I got for Christmas (Thanks Minnie!!) from DCWV "Black Currant "...I just LOVE this stack!! Gorgeous paper!!

I cut the rosette 5 times at 2" (It is a little bigger than I thought, but what the heck! It fit and I think it's kina cool covering the whole card!!) scored each piece and folded, then adhered each piece together forming the rosette! I LOVE making rosettes!! They are just so cool!! A little tip that I have: I use a glue gun to adhere the pieces and when putting the middle disc on each side. I have tried alot of adhesive and hot glue is easier to me! I added a heart shaped punch in the center with "Be my Valentine" stamped in the center & added some Stickles to the edge of the heart!
