Happy 4th of July to everyone!! And before we begin with today's project a HUGE thank you to all who have or are serving in the military! And also a HUGE thank you to their spouses too! :)
Now onto business (lol!!) today is my post for Joy's Life DT and this week we are making 3-D items! (Ooo & Ahh!!) If you are a regular to my blog you know I love making cards but I think gift items are a VERY close second! I just love altering something and making it "really cool" to give to someone! AND seeing their reaction?? Priceless!!
Today I am using You're Soda-lightful" from Yummy Puns...now if this is your first time here or you have never heard of Joy's Life stamps...well let me tell you, they are AMAZING!! Good quality, awesome images & sentiments AND Joy is SUPER sweet! You get the whole package!! :)
Here is my project...
How cute is this?? I used Tim Holtz papers for the entire project and some old bottle caps I had saved! This is root beer which to me is an "old-timey" "distressed" kind of soda...so I knew I had to use Tim papers! I stamped the super cool sentiment on vanilla paper and punch it out with an oval scallop punch. I then used my leftovers to make a rosette for the front! And added some fibers for that little special touch! ;)
Here is a close-up of the stamps...
See what I mean...AMAZING stamps!! (I did not apply full pressure when stamping these...remember I was going for the distressed look!)

Hope everyone has a safe & fun 4th of July!! :)
Until next time...
