Happy Anniversary My Love

Hello! Hope everyone is having a great weekend so far! Today is my day to post for Joy's Life DT! This week our "theme" is Anniversary/Love because this is Joy's wedding anniversary week!! So HAPPY ANNIVERSARY JOY!! :) :)

For my card, I used some of the wording from Everyday Occasions. I have said it before, but I will say it again...I absolutely LOVE this set! There are so many possibilities!! I used "Happy Anniversary My Love"...
I found these K&Company flower stickers at Michael's the other day and just HAD to have them! I love the colors!! So I used some coordinating paper (coincidentally from K&Company too!) an some white flower-y ribbon and added some pearls for some bling! I stamped my sentiment and added some more pearls to tie it all together.

Here is a close-up of the stamps...
Well, that's all for today...I finished up the birthday party favors that I started last week so I will be posting those and some other things in the the next couple of days!

Until next time...

Teachers Gifts Blog Hop-Joy's Life DT

Hello and Happy Saturday to you!! Welcome to Joy's Life Teachers Gifts Blog Hop! If you came from Susie's blog, then you are in the right place! If you just stumbled in here, please start back at Joy's blog so you don't miss anything! :)

This weekend the DT is showing off many great ideas for teachers gifts! Teacher Appreciation and the end of the school year is coming up so this is the perfect time to get started!

I chose to make a card/gift combo! I used a clear pillow box from Joy and filled it with Dove chocolates! I made a small tag using "A treat for you" from Popsicle Puns from Joy's Life! YUM!!! I wanted to also do a card that maybe the students could all sign, so I thought Why not put the gift ON the card?!?! So I used some white thin chipboard for my card base to give it stability. I added some purple cardstock and stamped "Thank you" from Tag You're It Set One then did clear embossing to make it stand out a little. Added some Golden Rod Stickles to the edges of the card & tag and I was done!

Here is a close-up of the amazing stamps! :)
Now head on over to Lori's blog where I know you will see some more amazing gift ideas! :)

Hello everyone out there in BloggerLand! Thanks so much for stopping by today! I have a super cute project to show you, so relax & enjoy! :)

Today is my posting day for Joy's Life DT and this week the DT is using these super cute, super amazing tubes that Joy sent to us! And I am using one of the brand new sets from Joy's Life (all new sets can be seen HERE) called Tag You're It TWO! I chose to use "Hope your day BUBBLES over with fun" Isn't that just the cutest saying??

And here is my tube project:
And of course I filled it with some bubbles! Here is a side view:
And from the top:
I used the wand that came with some Hello Kitty bubbles my mom gave me for Easter :) and just punched a 3/4" circle from the paper I used as a band around the tube. I added a circle to the top of the tube as well. I wrapped some twine from The Twinery around the wand and tied it up. On the ends I added a pink "dot" on each side and sandwiched the twine inside...And added some Stickles to my punched piece with my sentiment!

Here is a close-up of the sentiment stamp:
Wouldn't this be so cute to give to someone "Just Because"!! Who doesn't LOVE bubbles??? :)

Well, I'm out of here for now! Have a great day and don't forget to go see what the rest of the DT has done with their tubes! There are some amazing projects this week!! :)

Until next time...

Skating Birthday

Good Saturday Morning to everyone!! We have a busy day planned over here but I wanted to jump on here and show the birthday invites I finished last night! I just LOVE how these turned out! I made 28 of them in 3 different colors!
I used the skate image from "Nifty Fifties" cut at 3.5", the Stripes embossing folder from Stampin Up and a super cute stamp from work!

I think the hardest part of these were the laces! If doing only a couple, no problem....but doing 28, WOW!! I made the birthday girl's invite with an Action Wobble as a special touch! Wish I could have done all of them with them but Holy Cow that would be expensive!!

I will be starting on the party favor bags this week, so stay tuned for that!

Anyway, hope everyone has a super fantastic weekend!! :)

Until next time... ♥ Laura ♥

Mother's Day or Just Because :)

I have to start off this post by saying "I LOVE MY JOB"!!! :) :) I am now on my 2nd month of working at my LSS and I just LOVE it!! Not just the money (which of course is super nice!!) But the people that I work with/for...AMAZING!! AND I get to craft too!! Holy cow what could be better?? :)

I was asked to make some Mother's Day cards for the store for samples of some of the products and stamps we is one of the cards I made..This card could also be for any occasion, just add any sentiment to it to change it up!

I used some Bo Bunny paper and a gorgeous stamp from Inky Antics Elegant Florals Collection. I cut the oval out using my Spellbinders Scalloped Oval and used Viva Decor Perfect Pearl Pen in black. I embossed the image in black then used Stampin Up markers to color the image. I also added just a touch of Stickles to the middles of the roses.

I just love how this came out! :) I am making some more samples for the store this weekend and also working on some Birthday skating invitations! Busy crafting weekend!

And one more thing before I go....we have 3 new additions to our family...

GOATS!!! :) Aren't they just the cutest?? Now we need to come up with names...

Until next time...

Snail Mail

Hello!! Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter weekend! We just love 3 day weekends over here! A little relaxing, a little fun time and A LOT of family time!! Today I am showing you a card I made for Joy's Life DT! Our challenge this week was to create something with an animal...and since Joy has such amazing animal puns on her stamp sets, this was really hard!! Ok the card was easy but choosing which stamp to use?? THAT was hard! SO many different options!! So I finally chose "Snail Mail" from Lots of Puns!

Now how many of you out there are going to argue with me that a snail is NOT an animal?? Let's just say that is IS an animal and move on! :) LOL!!

I cut the snail from "Create A Critter" at 3"....I chose my papers first so I would know what colors to cut my snail with. Lt pink, brown and lt green...I LOVE that color combo!! My snail is adhered to my card with an Action Wobble (LOVE these little things!!) I wanted me stamp in the upper corner but didn't want it straight across to when I placed it on my block, I set it on a slight curve! That is the great thing about clear stamps, you can bend them many ways to get a different look with your stamps! I used my white gel pen to add some details and some colored pearls and of course Stickles to bling it up a bit!!

Hope you enjoyed my card today and be sure to go over and see what the rest of the DT has done this week! :)

Until next time...

Baby Shower

No silly! Not MY baby shower! (whew!!) A friend of mine asked me to make her some favor boxes for a shower she is hosting...she sent me a pic of what she wanted and I got to work! :) She wanted "Popcorn Boxes" with a silhouette of a pregnant lady and "Ready to Pop"....Also she wanted some signs for the "Craving Bar"
I used "TBBM" to make the box and "9 Months" for the lady...then did "Ready to Pop" on the computer and cut it out with my Nestabilities! I did all the food labels on the computer and cut them with my new Stephanie Bernard dies! I was really pleased with how they came out and when she picked them up, she was too! Yay!! :)

I can't wait to see the pics of the shower to see how she fills the boxes!

And real quick before I go...I have to share a funny pic that I took today at work....
We have a dog groomer right down the strip center from us and she brought in her latest creation! She said the owner wanted her like an Easter Egg! :)

Have a great day!
Until next time...

Sweet Easter Wishes

Good morning & welcome to my post for Joy's Life DT! I hope everyone is having a great week so far! Allergies are taking over here at my house so we are all just kind of...blah!! =/ BUT I will prevail!! I will NOT let these allergies take me down!! :)

Our challenge this week was to make an Easter project & I chose to use "Sweet Easter Wishes" using 2 sets from Joy..."Sweet" & "Wishes" are from Everyday Occasions & "Easter" is from Holiday Occasions! I am just loving the versatility of these sets!!
SO many different options !!

I used TBBM2 (for my first time!! Yay me!!) to cut this cute little basket at 5"! I put some designer paper behind the lattice to add more color...I added some yellow Stickles to the diamond shape pattern and some super cute pom-pom ribbon from Stampin Up to the handle! The put all my words on my clear block, stamped them in Melon Mambo & punched them out with my label punch!
Here is a close-up of the sentiment...
And a side view of the basket...

Thanks for coming by today and be sure to go check out the rest of the DT projects! :)

Until next time...
